The Livelihood Business Incubation Centre has been established at College of Food Science and Technology, Pulivendula,( ANGRAU) in collaboration with IIPM Bangalore, for processing of Mango and the Millets.
Objectives
- To encourage the Agri-entrepreneurs among the farmers & rural youth from neighboring mandals of Pulivendula and Rayalaseema region.
- To encourage farmer to process their own produce.
- To create the awareness of millets & conduct entrepreneurship training for rural youth
The equipment needed for manufacturing of food products (Mango: Juice & leather, Millet: flour, grits, suji, & biscuits etc.) will be supported by IIPM Bangalore and operation of the plant, food products technology, packaging will be supported by CFST Pulivendula. The IIPM Bangalore will also involve in building the brand of the products and also holds the training programs to encourage the agri-entrepreneurs.
