College of Food Science & Technology was established in the year 2008 as a constituent college of Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University to cater the needs of human resources in Rayalaseema region. This degree programme is a blend of multi-disciplinary sciences of Food Processing Technology, Food Process Engineering, Food Safety & Quality Assurance. The college offers 4 years B.Tech (Food Technology) as professional degree under the monitoring of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).This professional degree programme is updating syllabus time on time and presently the VI dean committee syllabus is implemented from 2024-25 academic year in line with National Education Policy (NEP). Food Technology programme emphasizes on imparting basic theoretical and practical sciences to students. It is comprised with skill development, practical oriented lab exercise, hands on training to advanced processing techniques and internship programme with industries. The campus is strengthened with good academicians, lab facilities and lush green campus with residential hostels. The college invites prosperous aspirates to enrol into the college to excel in Food Technology field.
