The intake is 55 students per year from both MPC and BiPC streams. Admissions are made by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) for the students from mathematics MPC stream and by Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur for the students from BiPC stream. The admissions are purely merit based on the rank obtained in APEAMCET (Entrance test conducted by Govt. of AP) conducted every year.
