Our Education Growth
The intake is 50 students per year from both mathematics and biology streams. Admissions are made by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) for the students from mathematics (Maths-Physics-Chemistry) stream and by Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur for the students from (Bioliogy-Physics-Chemistry) stream. The admissions are purely merit based on the rank obtained in APEAMCET (Entrance test conducted by Govt. of AP) conducted every year.
The College provides accommodation to all admitted students both for boys and girls separately. Both the hostels are provided with common facilities like TV, Table Tennis, Reading Room, solar water heater and gymnasium.
The college takes excels through five departments, namely, Dept. of Food Processing Technology, Dept. of Food Process Engineering, Dept. of Food Safety and Quality and Assurance, Dept. of Food Business Management and Dept. Food Plant Operations. To encourage the students in extra-curricular activities, a separate office works under the guidance of Officer-in-Charge Student Activities. Student counselling and placement cell takes care of training and career related issues. The Physical Director serves the college students to keep them fit for the studies and career.
